Scope of work

LSTK project for design, engineering, procurement, construction, pre-commissioning and commissioning of a new 69/13.8 KV substation.

The scope includes:

  • Power Transformers, 30/40MVA, 69/13.8KV;69kV SF6 Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS);13.8kV, Indoor switchgear with Vacuum circuit breakers;
  • Other 13.8kv and low voltage electrical works consist of following;
    • Two (2) 500 KVA, (minimum), 13.8kv -380/220 volt ONAN station service transformer.
    • One (1) ring main unit (RMU), 25KA for 1 sec, SF6 insulated outdoor type with two (2) load break ring switches and one fuse switch or circuit breaker for the tee off circuit.
    • One (1) dry type transformer 3
    • 80-220/127volt AC. 380/220V and 220/127V AC distribution panel boards complete with breakers.
    • DC auxiliary power system with 500AH (minimum) on 8 hour basis, or 550AH (minimum) on 10 hour basis battery bank, 75A (Minimum) battery charger, DC distribution panel boards complete with breakers.
    • Complete indoor and outdoor lighting system.
    • Grounding system.
    • SF6 gas filling and related testing of gas.
    • Transformer oil filling and filtration.
    • Testing of 13.8kv XLPE power cables.
    • Modification works for existing control, protection and anunciator panels in source substation as per PTS-0945.
    • Communication equipments like SCADA RTU, DFR, SOE, and TFR & FOTE.
    • HVAC system and Fire Alarm system.
  • Control and Protection system for new substation-2 and Source substation consists of following;
    • Three (3) –  69/13.8kv Transformer Protection Panel
    • Three (3) –  69/13.8kv Transformer Protection Panel
    • Two (2) –  69kv Line Protection Panel
    • One (1) – ABTS Panel
    • Three (3) – Control Panel
    • Three (3) – Remote Tap Changer Control Panel
    • Two (2) – 69kv Line Protection Panel
